We love this store! It’s exactly the type of card shop you’d want in your neighborhood. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Great selection of all kinds of trading cards — they’ve got a lot of One Piece and Pokemon. Stop in frequently; they get new stuff in all time!
Loot Box is one of those rare TCG shops where you can tell the people behind it genuinely care about their community. They consistently offer products at MSRP, which already sets them apart, but they go further by being generous at events and providing better prize support than most other shops. The space itself has a great aesthetic, and the players there reflect the same positive energy. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been welcoming and kind. A special thank you to Nick as well. Every the I've visited, he’s always been chill, flexible, and incredibly welcoming, and his honest personality really adds to what makes the shop feel so genuine. It’s not the closest shop to me, but it’s one I’m always happy to make the trip for.
I recently moved into town and was excited to explore local card shops where my siblings and I could participate in One Piece organized play. Unfortunately, my experience at this shop was extremely disappointing. When I asked the store owner for information about constructed organized play and product availability, he appeared uninterested and unwilling to provide any helpful details. He stated that he only sells product to “locals,” even after I explained that I had just moved to the area. Throughout the interaction, he kept his back turned to me, which made the entire exchange feel dismissive and unwelcoming. As someone genuinely interested in becoming part of the local community and supporting small businesses, this was discouraging. A friendly introduction or even basic information would have gone a long way. Instead, I left feeling unwelcome and disappointed by the lack of professionalism and hospitality. It’s unfortunate, this experience left me feeling unwelcome and disappointed by the lack of basic courtesy and professionalism.
